Seabed culture of rock oysters (Crassostrea gigas) – these have been grown in exactly the same way as those in the bags up to about 10grams and then are spread near the low water mark on the seabed and left to thir own devices-they grow a much wider shell and a meatier texture similar to native oyster (Ostrea edulis).
